Dr. Soham Swadhin Pradhan

Dr. Soham Swadhin Pradhan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Dayananda Sagar University, Harohalli, Bengaluru. He received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) in 2018.
His research fields are Representation Theory and Group Theory, with interests in representations of finite groups, algebraic structure of group rings, finite group theory, cohomology of finite groups, deformation of algebras, central simple algebras and Brauer groups.
Following his doctoral studies, he carried out postdoctoral research at several renowned institutions in India and abroad. These include the Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore (ISI Bangalore), Harish-Chandra Research Institute (HRI), University of Haifa, and Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. He has qualified the CSIR-NET and GATE examinations and is the recipient of a prestigious international postdoctoral fellowship. His research has been published in reputed international journals and conference proceedings.
