Programs Included:
This program is a two-year, CBCS (choice based credit system) post graduate program with a diverse curriculum. It provides a strong foundation in chemistry and biomolecules which will help students to grasp the tenets of biochemistry with ease. It is inclusive of subjects like metabolism, human physiology, analytical techniques, enzymology, molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology, molecular physiology, protein chemistry, genetic engineering, bioinformatics and related laboratory practicals, helping students to understand biochemical reactions and processes in different organisms as well as apprehend life and disease at molecular level. Apart from courses, students will take up Project/Dissertation work in their final year which will expose them to research activities and develop their analytical thinking. Students are constantly encouraged to attend conferences, present posters, participate in various curricular and extracurricular (sports, cultural and social work) events etc.
