On behalf of the School of Commerce & Management Studies, IPR Cell of the, NAAC IQAC, Dayananda Sagar University, a one day seminar was organised on February 15th, 2020 on “Introduction to Intellectual Property Rights and Patenting systems in India” in CD Sagar Auditorium. Dr.Subramaniyan, Deputy Controller of Patents & Designs, Chennai was the resource person for the session.

A talk on “Effectiveness in writing and getting research grants from external funding agencies” was organized by the IQAC cell . Eminent resource person delivered the talk on February 8th 2020 at CD Sagar auditorium.

The PUC students of Dayanda Sagar PU college were made aware of various Bachelor courses offered at DSU.

The BOS meeting with a mandate of curriculum revision of 3rd and 4th semesters of BSc as well as MSc programs was held on 7th February 2020. The expert committee comprising of eminent academicians from IISc, Bangalore University, NIMHANS along with Industry attended the meeting and their comments and revisions were inco.

IQAC, DSU organized a talk on Gender Bias on February 4th 2020. Faculty of SBAS and Pharmacy attended the talk.

Suparno Banerjee from MSc Biotechnology IV semester, Passed the highly competitive National exam and secured 51th rank at the national level.

A lecture on Promotion of Academic Integrity and Prevention of Plagiarism in Higher Education, was given by Dr.Chandrashekar Janakiram, Prof and HOD, Dept of Public Health Dentistry, Amritha School of Dentistry, Kochi and Dr.Nagesh, Prof and HOD, Dept of Public Health Dentistry,DSCDS, on February 1 2020.

This event was organized jointly by NAAC- IQAC and College of Physiotherapy, DSU.
