Preamble
The Centre for Corporate and Commercial Laws (CCCL) promotes a deeper understanding of corporate and commercial laws in a fast-changing business environment. As a part of bridging the gap between corporate and academia we seek to bring out the pervasive nature of the corporate legal landscape through comprehensive education, groundbreaking research, and active engagement with the legal and business communities. The Centre for Corporate and Commercial Laws is established with the notion of creating global corporate consciousness among different stakeholders by promoting, nurturing, and disseminating literature relating to corporate entities, share markets, market competitions, international trade, commercial transactions and financial markets. The centre strives to create an actively operating student community where new initiatives are encouraged, research will flourish, networking’s promoted and a strong knowledge base for commercial laws are established. In addition to the research activities, the Centre plans to fosters practical learning through its outreach activities, and collaborations with industry professionals. Our goal is to prepare students as continuously employable professionals by making them industry ready through best practices in the globalised legal arena.

The members are to be involved in a wide variety of projects, covering topics such as Comparative Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, The Regulation Of Market Systems, Financial Institutions, Legal Issues Associated With Corporate and Commercial Finance, International Commercial Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property, Competition Law, Secured Transactions Law, The International Law on Foreign Investment, , International Trade, Consumer Law, Harmonisation of Law, and The Development of Commercial Law.

Background:
