Executive MBA
I am pleased to share an update on my Executive MBA capstone project, “Modernizing EDI Services through API and Event-Driven Integration: An Applied Research Approach with Productization and GTM Planning.”
When I approached my stakeholders at Siemens with my Executive MBA program and the capstone project, they were very supportive and suggested a few relevant topics to explore. Among these, I chose EDI Modernization, as it directly addressed long-standing challenges and provided an opportunity to apply what I was learning in the MBA program to a real-world business problem.
The project has now been approved for MVP implementation with additional scope. I have been entrusted with the dual role of Product Manager and Product Owner, which has been a great career breakthrough and learning opportunity.
I am thankful to you, DSU’s Executive MBA program, and the professors for their guidance, as it gave me the confidence to approach Siemens stakeholders who supported me in choosing EDI Modernization, a project that not only aligns with Siemens’ One Tech Company vision and its reusable code and API-fixation strategy, but also opened a great opportunity for me to grow into a dual product manager and product owner role.
