Sumit Banerjee completed his M.Tech in Data and Computational Science and M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur. His academic interests lie at the intersection of mathematics, optimization, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science, with a strong emphasis on developing computational methodologies for solving complex real-world problems.

His research primarily focuses on Hybrid Multi objective Optimization for machine learning, integrating evolutionary algorithms with gradient-based optimization techniques to improve model accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. He has also contributed to research and projects in statistical regression, kernel methods, deep learning, predictive analytics, and mathematical modelling.

Driven by a passion for teaching, research, and innovation, he is committed to promoting analytical thinking and interdisciplinary learning. His areas of academic interest include Calculus, Linear Algebra, Probability, Optimization, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Mathematical Modelling.
