Prof. Sripad Kulkarni S is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University. Currently pursuing research in Additive Manufacturing Approaches for Lightweight Shock Structures, He holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Material Technology from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bengaluru. His areas of interest include manufacturing processes, material science, advanced prototyping techniques, with a strong focus on aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and the design and development of rockets, CanSat, and rovers. Prof. Sripad Kulkarni has completed NPTEL certifications in Structural Analysis of Nanomaterials and Introduction to Research. He has published four research papers in International journals and conferences, contributing to advancements in his field. Additionally, He is a lifetime member of several prestigious international and national technical societies and is proficient in advanced software tools such as Dymola Behaviour Modelling, Simulia, and Enovia 3D Experience Platforms. He has been working in multi- disciplinary areas of research and has filed Indian Patents on Drone-Mounted CanSat Release Mechanism Using Drone-Mounted CanSat Release Mechanism Using Electrothermal Technique and Method Thereof.
