Mr. Sounak Majumdar
Assistant Professor
Mr. Sounak Majumdar is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Technology at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University. He obtained his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Information Technology from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata, and Tezpur University, Assam, respectively. He has over seven years of work experience across both academia and industry. As of 28 January 2026, he has published 10 Scopus indexed research papers and 3 patents. His research interests lie in the application of machine learning and deep learning techniques to address complex real-world problems across diverse domains. As an educator, he is committed to mentoring students and fostering a strong foundation in computer science along with research-oriented and practical learning.
