Assistant Professor

Sonali Bairagi is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. She holds a Master of Technology (MTech) in Computer Technology from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from Techno India College of Technology, Kolkata affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.

She is proficient in programming languages such as Python, with a strong command of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and solid expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms. Her core competencies include Database Management Systems (DBMS), Operating Systems, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

She previously served as a Data Analytics Intern at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) Cell. There, she designed and implemented interactive Power BI dashboards for visualizing and analysing water quality and supply metrics at the state level, and applied Python-based techniques for web scraping and automated data processing.

Her research interests include Deep Learning, Medical Image Classification and Ensemble Modelling. She is dedicated to fostering research-driven learning and aims to contribute to the advancement of intelligent healthcare technologies through interdisciplinary innovation.
