Mr. Shubham Mishra is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Dayananda Sagar University. He is an academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering with research interests in System-on-Chip (SoC) Design, Computer Architecture, RISC-V Processor Architecture, Embedded Systems, Hardware Acceleration, and Digital System Design. His work focuses on designing efficient computing systems through hardware-software co-design, processor customization, and high-performance embedded architectures. He is passionate about teaching, research, and mentoring students in emerging areas of computer engineering.
He holds an M.Tech. in System-on-Chip Design from the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Rewa Engineering College, Madhya Pradesh. During his postgraduate studies, he specialized in computer architecture, digital VLSI systems, embedded system design, and hardware-software integration, developing a strong foundation in modern processor technologies.
His master's research focused on the integration of hardware accelerators into open-source RISC-V processors. The work involved architectural enhancements for efficient accelerator integration, custom instruction implementation, and optimization of processor performance for compute-intensive applications. His research has strengthened his interest in open-source processor design, hardware acceleration, and next-generation computing platforms.
Mr. Shubham actively participates in research, technical workshops, faculty development programmes, and academic activities to keep pace with emerging technologies. His current research interests include RISC-V Architecture, AI and Cryptographic Hardware Accelerators, FPGA-based System Design, Embedded Computing, High-Performance Computing, Computer Architecture, and Intelligent System Design. He is keen on collaborative research that contributes to the development of efficient, scalable, and sustainable computing systems.
