Dr. Shreekant Salotagi
Assistant Professor
Dr. Shreekant Salotagi is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru.
He has completed his Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi, Karnataka. with the Research Topic “Optimization of Resource Allocation in Internet of Things (IoT) Agriculture Applications” in the domain of Wireless Communication Networks and Internet of Things (IoT).
He has obtained his Master (M-Tech) degree specialization with “Information Technology” from National Institute of Engineering (NIE) Mysore, Karnataka affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Belagavi.
He has total of 16 years of Teaching/Academic’s/Industry experience and 16 research papers in his credit including 10 international journals and 6 international IEEE conference papers.
He has invited lectures on advanced Computer Architecture, Internet of Things, Wireless Communications etc., in various UG/PG Engineering colleges. He has organizing Conferences/Workshops/FDP/STTP/Technical talks, Industrial Visit, ISO, NAAC & NBA accreditation.
His areas of research interest include Computer Networks, Wireless Communication Networks and IoT Networks.
He has publications on research works in the top peer-reviewed international journals of the WoS, SCI, SCOPUS in Q1, Q2, and Q3 journals, Titled like Multi-objective modified emperor penguin optimization for resource allocation in internet of things agriculture applications and Optimization of Estimated Routing Paths in IoT Agriculture Applications etc.
