Dr. Shital Saha
Assistant Professor
Dr. Shital Saha is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Karnataka, India. He completed his Ph.D. degree in Statistics at the Department of Mathematics, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, Odisha, India. Before that, he had worked as a Mathematics Teacher at Kendriya Vidyalaya AFS Bagdogra, Siliguri. He earned his B.Ed. degree in Mathematics from Raiganj B.Ed. College (Govt. Sponsored), Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics from University of Gour Banga, Malda, and his Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from Balurghat College, Balurghat.
His research interests are Statistical Information Theory, Copula Theory, Reliability Theory, Statistical Inference and Applied Statistics in the field of Probability & Statistics. He has published 9 research articles (SCI-Indexed) in different reputed international journals. He serves as a reviewer for several journals, including Communications in Statistics—Theory and Methods, São Paulo Journal of Mathematical Sciences, Fluctuation and Noise Letters, Contemporary Mathematics, Applied Mathematics-A Journal of Chinese Universities. Additionally, he has qualified the CSIR-UGC NET (LS & JRF), WBSET, CTET (Paper I & II) and IIT-JAM.
