Assistant Professor
Mr Saruk B.S. is an Assistant Professor in the area of Statistics and Data Science at the School of Commerce and Management, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He holds an M.Sc. in Statistics from Presidency College, Chennai, and has submitted his Ph.D. thesis in Statistics at VIT Vellore, awaiting open defence and public viva voce. With over two years of experience in predictive analytics, statistical modelling, and agricultural data science, his current research focuses on regression modelling, hybrid machine learning, time series forecasting, and interpretable AI for sustainable agriculture. Proficient in Python and R with advanced expertise in data visualisation, he has published three Scopus-indexed papers with impact factors and successfully mentored postgraduate students in applied statistics and data science.
