Sanjay Devshali is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science (Data Science) at Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore. His academic background includes an M.Tech. in Agile Software Engineering from MANIT Bhopal, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Physics from Garhwal University.

His research interests span across Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Sequence Modeling, Explainable AI (XAI), TinyML, Quantum Computing, Quantum Machine Learning (QML), and Physics-Informed Neural Networks. His research focuses on solving complex problems with practical applications, such as ECG arrhythmia detection on edge devices. As an educator, he emphasizes a first-principles approach to learning, inspiring students to build a solid foundational understanding of complex technical subjects. Additionally, he actively works on analytical modeling and research related to the game of chess.
