Ms. Saloni Goel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) at Dayananda Sagar University. She completed her M.Tech in Data Science and Engineering from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, and B.Tech in Computer Engineering from Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun.

She has one year of research experience at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, where she worked on advanced deep learning techniques for remote sensing applications. During her M.Tech, her research focused on deep learning-based flood inundation mapping using Remote Sensing Data.

Her areas of academic interest include Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Data Analytics. She is passionate about teaching, research, and mentoring students while fostering innovation, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills in computer science and data-driven technologies. She aims to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world applications through quality education and impactful research.
