Dr. Sajeev Kumar B, Professor in Pharmaceutics - a passionate and dynamic academic professional, has completed my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad in the area of Nanotechnology and Drug Delivery. During my tenure, I had the privilege to work as faculty in few leading Universities in India (KUHS, RGUHS), and in Malaysia (AIMST University). Has been awarded the International Research award (ICNaCS) by UITM - Protek, Malaysia. Has received the UICC - TATA Trust Grant - Geneva, AIMST university Grant - Malaysia, CRG - RGUHS, Karnataka, AICTE technical Grant - New Delhi in disciplines supporting research on cancer, Novel carriers for drug targeting, Cancer drug utilization and ADR monitoring, and usage of cutting-edge technology (Artificial Intelligence) in drug discovery and development. Has undergone Residential Training Programme and master courses on Nanotechnology Relevant to Medical Research, at IISC (CeNSE), Bengaluru. Has 2 patents, 30 research papers in peer reviewed Scopus indexed journals, authored one book chapter and presented 25 research papers in international conferences. Currently editor for AJPHS and a peer reviewer for international journals. Has guided 2 PhD, 31 M.Pharm and 20 Pharm D students for research. Has been the employee training coordinator for GSK, Cipla, Ranbaxy and Strides. Existing research interest and collaboration embraces MSN nanoconjugates targeting Her 2+ protein (brain, breast and prostate cancer), trans ethosomal hydrogel carriers - Rheumatoid Arthritis, liposomal TDDS and SLNs DDS for breast cancer in association with Lipoid - GmbH, Germany.
