Dr. Rituja Saha
Assistant Professor
Rituja Saha is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML), School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. She completed her B.Tech-M.Tech Dual Degree in Computational Mathematics from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala in May, 2026.
She has gained research experience through internships at the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Kolkata, and the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), where she worked on machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, transfer learning, and image processing applications.
Her research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Healthcare AI, and Data Analytics. She has published research in IEEE conference proceedings (2025) and also presented a paper in the ICAICM conference, 2026, and has worked on projects involving disease detection, object classification, violence detection, multimodal sentiment analysis for mental health detection, and intelligent data-driven systems.
Her current research focuses on developing AI-driven solutions for real-world challenges in healthcare, agriculture, and intelligent surveillance systems.
