Assistant Professor

Ms. Ritika Kumari is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. She completed her Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar and her Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Katihar Engineering College, Bihar.

Her academic interests include Database Management Systems (DBMS), Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Internet of Things (IoT), Linux Systems, and Python Programming. She is passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and encouraging practical, project-based learning.

Her master's research focused on integrating Modbus-based industrial devices with the oneM2M IoT platform through an Interworking Proxy Entity (IPE). She developed a Python-based gateway for protocol translation, implemented real-time data acquisition, and built a Flask dashboard for monitoring IoT devices. Her work emphasizes protocol interoperability, efficient data exchange, and Industrial IoT applications. She has also developed a VPS Monitoring Web Application for real-time monitoring of server resources using SSH communication and Docker-based deployment.

Ms. Ritika actively participates in research, technical workshops, and academic activities. Her research interests include IoT, Computer Networks, Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, oneM2M Architecture, Industrial Automation, and Protocol Interoperability. She is passionate about teaching, continuous learning, and conducting research that addresses real-world challenges in Computer Science and Engineering.
