Raunit Maurya is a committed academician and emerging researcher in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. His academic and research interests span computer vision, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and real-world problem-solving through technology.
He holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Calicut (2025), where his research focused on enhancing situational awareness in disaster scenarios. His postgraduate thesis, titled “Computer Vision-Guided Humans and Animals Detection in Aquatic Disaster Zones”. He earned his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped, Kanpur, affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow (2023).
Raunit’s technical toolkit includes programming languages such as C, C++, SQL and Python along with experience using networking tools like Wireshark. His research interests align with socially impactful domains such as disaster management, intelligent systems, and AI-based infrastructure solutions. As a young faculty member, he is enthusiastic about advancing academic excellence and fostering innovation in both teaching and applied computing.
