Assistant Professor

Dr. Rahul R serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. His research interests span Antimicrobial Resistance, Infection Control, Public Health, Epidemiology, and Psychiatry. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation, Salem. With over five years of teaching and research experience, he has contributed to academia through various roles, including Research Scholar, Assistant Professor, Clinical Preceptor, and Clinical Data Advisor. He has been recognized for his academic and research contributions, receiving the Best Research Scholar award from SRM College of Pharmacy, the Best Poster Presentation award from IMA and WHO, and the Best Volunteer Award from the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. He also serves as an advisory panel member for Elsevier and as a reviewer for leading academic publishers, including Elsevier, Frontiers, Springer, Wiley, Dove Press, and Cureus. With 21 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals, extensive mentoring experience, and 132 certifications in various areas of expertise, Dr. Rahul is committed to advancing pharmaceutical sciences through both research and education.
