Prolay Biswas

Professor Prolay Biswas has completed his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Kalyani Government Engineering College, Kalyani, Nadia, West Bengal, under the West Bengal University of Technology through GATE. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai, with his thesis focusing on Sentiment Analysis and Knowledge Discovery in Social Networks, Share Business, and various Review Websites. He has nearly 15 years of teaching experience at engineering colleges and universities.

He has published two books, one paper in a SCOPUS-indexed journal, and presented at five national conferences. He qualified for the GATE exam in 2007 in IT, achieving a score of 264 and ranking 1305 out of 4884 candidates.

Professor Biswas has conducted numerous sessions for faculty on subjects including UNITY AR/VR training, META AR Developer Professional training, Machine Learning, CO-PO Attainment training, and the Linux Operating System to address curriculum-based challenges. He has also conducted workshops on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

He has guided around 32 B.Tech projects, 4 M.Tech projects, and is currently supervising 4 B.Tech projects under PU. His research interests include Data Analysis, AR/VR, Machine Learning, and the Linux Operating System for Open-Source Software (OSS).
