Priya Pudke

Assistant Professor

Priya Pudke is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru.

She completed her M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Information Security) from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, and B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Bhilai Institute of Technology, Raipur. She is proficient in programming languages C, CPP and Python. She has a strong command over core Computer Science subjects like Operating Systems, Data Structures, Object-Oriented Programming and Database Management Systems.

Her research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Cybersecurity, Data Science and more recently, Explainable AI (XAI). During her M.Tech, she worked on Android malware detection, where she explored the application of machine learning techniques to identify and predict malicious behavior in mobile apps. This project not only deepened her understanding of cybersecurity threats but also highlighted the importance of model transparency and interpretability sparking her growing interest in Explainable AI.
