Ms. Prachi Rajendra
Assistant Professor
Ms. Prachi Rajendra Bangade is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. She is actively involved in teaching undergraduate courses and participating in academic and research activities. Her areas of interest include Mobile Edge Computing (MEC), Edge Computing, UAV-Assisted Networks, and Wireless Communication Systems.
She completed her MTech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar, and her B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from G. H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur.
Her MTech. thesis, titled "Joint Trajectory Optimization and Resource Allocation for Energy Efficient Two-Stage UAV-Assisted Mobile Edge Computing System," proposes an optimization framework for improving the energy efficiency of UAV-assisted Mobile Edge Computing systems through joint trajectory optimization, resource allocation, and task offloading. She has also published an IEEE conference paper, "A Game-Theoretic Approach for Users of Edge Computing: QoS-Aware and Cost-Efficient," presented at the 2025 International Conference on Signal Processing, Computation, Electronics, Power and Telecommunication (IConSCEPT 2025), focusing on QoS-aware and cost-efficient resource allocation in edge computing environments.
Before joining academia, Ms. Prachi Bangade completed an App Engineering Internship at Hitachi Vantara, where she gained practical experience in backend application development using Java, Python, Django, SQL, AWS, and REST APIs. She aims to further her research in Mobile Edge Computing, UAV-assisted communication systems, and optimization techniques to develop efficient and intelligent solutions for next-generation wireless networks.
