Piyush Kothari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of CSE (Data Science), School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. He completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Data Science from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala, one of India's premier technical institutions. His academic background and research expertise focus on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Intelligent Decision Support Systems.

Prior to joining Dayananda Sagar University, he served as a Teaching Assistant at the National Institute of Technology Agartala, where he assisted in laboratory instruction and academic activities for undergraduate students. During this tenure, he guided students in programming, data structures, algorithms, and practical implementation of machine learning concepts while supporting laboratory sessions and academic projects.

His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Science, Predictive Analytics, Data Mining, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Natural Language Processing, Explainable AI (XAI), MLOps, and Intelligent Decision Support Systems.He has designed and developed several AI and Machine Learning applications using Python, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, Flask, Streamlit, SQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. His work focuses on developing scalable, intelligent, and practical AI solutions for real-world applications while integrating modern data science methodologies into software systems.

His current work focuses on Machine Learning model optimization, Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Explainable AI, Intelligent Decision Support Systems, Predictive Analytics, cloud-based AI deployment, and real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
