About the Department

  • Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry deals with the drug discovery. With our well-equipped labs, highly talented staff and inquisitive and hardworking students, we strive to go to greater heights with our R&D in the fields of synthetic chemistry, phytochemistry, and analytical chemistry.
  • The department focus mainly on design and discovery of new molecules on anticancer, antimicrobial, neuropharmacological disorders, using computational tools. The department regularly organizes national and international conferences/workshops/seminar/symposia to create knowledge in the field and keep updated with the current scenario.

Core Research Area:

Medicinal chemistry research covers all relevant aspects using advance computational tools including,
