Mr. Nafees Raza
Assistant Professor
Mr. Nafees Raza is a research-driven postgraduate scholar in Computer Science and Engineering, awarded his M.Tech (2024–2026) at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, with the CGPA of 9.3/10.0, and is a Gold Medalist in M.Tech. His M.tech dissertation focuses on Medical Image Analysis using Deep Learning. He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Integral University, Lucknow (2019–2023) with a CGPA of 8.45/10.0 and no backlogs. He has cleared GATE 2025 in Computer Science and Information Technology. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, where he is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic administration for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
He has substantial academic and industry experience in the domain of Computer Science education. He served as a Subject Matter Expert and Academic Content Reviewer at Vaidik Eduservices Private Limited, Noida (July 2023 – August 2024), where he was responsible for academic content creation, question paper preparation, and conceptual doubt resolution for undergraduate Computer Science subjects. where he has delivered over a thousand verified solutions with detailed conceptual explanations across programming, algorithms, data structures, and machine learning topics.

His ongoing and completed research projects include Medical Image Analysis using Deep Learning (building segmentation and classification pipelines with MONAI and PyTorch on CT/MRI datasets), Heart Rate Prediction from Speech using Machine Learning (comparing Decision Forest, Boosted Decision Trees, Neural Networks, and regression-based models), and a Smart City Monitoring System featuring real-time face detection, vehicle number plate recognition, and a React-based dashboard deployed on Raspberry Pi.
