Ms. Kriti Bakshi

Assistant Professor

Ms. Kriti Bakshi is an academician with a strong foundation in Computer Science and Engineering, with expertise in Web Development, Data Structures and Algorithms, and UI/UX Design. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering (SOE), at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru (Main Campus), where she is involved in teaching and academic mentoring for undergraduate programs.

She holds a M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi. She earned her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the University College of Engineering and Technology, Hazaribagh, and completed her Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering from Government Women's Polytechnic College, Jamshedpur.

Ms. Kriti Bakshi has prior experience as a Credentialed Mentor at HashHackCode (August 2023 - December 2025), where she guided developers and students in coding and frontend development with personalized support. She also underwent vocational training in the System Department at Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), Dhanbad, gaining hands-on experience in system management and IT infrastructure.

Her technical proficiency spans HTML, CSS, Tailwind, Bootstrap, JavaScript, C++, SQL, and Python, along with strong fundamentals in Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Algorithms, and UI/UX Designing. She has worked on projects including SimSnap, a cross-device interactive platform enabling real-time collaboration using WebSockets; ShapeUp, a fitness and wellness web application featuring diet profiling, goal setting, and BMR calculation; and a Finance App prototype designed in Figma for transaction and analytics management.

She holds certifications in Web Development (The Code Help), Software Testing (NPTEL, IIT Kharagpur), Database Management Systems (NPTEL, IIT Kharagpur), and a Research and Development Management course through Mitacs, Canada. She has maintained an active coding streak of over 300 days on LeetCode and GeeksforGeeks, and was among the top rank holders in her department during her M.Tech.
