Assistant Professor

Ms. Kaviyaadharshani D is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. Prior to joining Dayananda Sagar University, she was associated with Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, Erode District, Tamil Nadu, where she served as an Assistant Professor and also held the role of Department Placement Coordinator, contributing effectively to academic delivery and student career development initiatives. She earned her Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, and her Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering from Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai, where she was recognized as the overall topper and awarded the Silver Medal for academic excellence. She has 1.5 years of teaching experience and is actively developing her research profile through scholarly publications and innovation-oriented work. Her research contributions include four publications, comprising two Scopus-indexed journal articles, one IEEE international conference paper, and one book chapter. She has also filed two patents, demonstrating her interest in applied research and technological innovation. Her research interests primarily focus on Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI).
