Currently pursuing research in passive flutter suppression of high aspect ratio wing structures using smart materials, Kartik S. Tandel specializes in experimental aeroelasticity and numerical analysis using NASTRAN. His research integrates advanced numerical and experimental methods to address complex challenges in aerospace engineering, particularly in aeroelasticity and the application of smart materials.
He holds a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering from Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from N.M.A.M. Institute of Technology, Nitte. With around 8 years of teaching experience, Kartik has developed expertise in tools such as CATIA, ANSYS Workbench, Fluent, and SolidWorks, enabling him to bring practical and analytical skills to his research and teaching.
In addition to his ongoing research, he has contributed to projects like the development of a Hybrid Go-Kart, showcasing his ability to innovate and apply engineering concepts effectively.
