Assistant Professor
Mr. Harsh Kumar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru.
He completed his M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur (NIT Durgapur), West Bengal, and his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Patna, Bihar. His areas of interest include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Analytics. His research focuses on AI-driven solutions for environmental monitoring, particularly air pollution prediction using deep learning techniques. He has published research papers in multiple conferences.
Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at COER University, Uttarakhand. During his tenure, he taught subjects including Machine Learning, Data Structures, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, and Operating Systems. He was also actively involved in student mentoring, academic evaluations, and project guidance, with a focus on practical and outcome-based learning.
