Dr. Govind Kumar Pandey

Assistant Professor

Dr. Govind Kumar Pandey is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University. He has successfully completed his Ph.D. in the area of graphene-based terahertz (THz) reconfigurable MIMO antennas for indoor wireless communication, with a strong emphasis on design, analysis, and performance validation using advanced electromagnetic simulation tools such as Wireless InSite, CST, HFSS, and MATLAB.

He holds a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata, India, and an M.Tech. in Optics and Optoelectronics from the College of Science, Technology, and Agriculture, Kolkata, India. With over 4 years and 9 months of teaching and research experience, Dr. Pandey has consistently demonstrated academic excellence and strong research leadership. He is a recipient of the prestigious “Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Best Researcher Award – 2025.”

Dr. Pandey’s research interests include THz communication systems, graphene-based and reconfigurable antenna design, quad-port MIMO antennas, intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS), beam steering, indoor propagation modeling, and the integration of antenna systems with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML).

He has authored several research articles published in reputed SCI/SCIE and Web of Science indexed international journals and conferences. In addition, he actively contributes to the global research community as a reviewer for multiple international journals and conferences in the areas of wireless communications, antenna design, and networking.

Apart from his academic and research contributions, Dr. Pandey has also successfully managed a tuition center, mentoring students in science and engineering subjects. He is known for his effective communication skills, academic leadership, and public speaking abilities.
