Dr. Gousia Thahniyath
Associate Professor
Dr. Gousia Thahniyath is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She holds a Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University in “A Novel Intrusion Detection System for Wireless Sensor Networks,” an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangalore University, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Gulbarga University.
With 19 years of teaching experience and 2 years of industry exposure, she has made significant contributions to academia and research, publishing extensively in reputed international SCI and SCOPUS-indexed journals, conferences, and book chapters. She has also secured research funding from recognized agencies for various sponsored projects.
Alongside her academic and research pursuits, Dr.Gousia Thahniyath has undertaken important administrative roles, including serving as a Mentor coordinator, Alumni coordinator, and coordinator for IQAC, NBA, and NAAC accreditation. She has actively organized and coordinated numerous student club activities.
Her research interests span Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Wireless Sensor Network, Web Technologies.
