Assistant Professor

Goutham T R is an academician and researcher in Computer Science and Engineering with a strong focus on network security, trust-based routing, and blockchain-enabled systems. He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Harohalli, Bangalore, where he is actively engaged in teaching, research, and academic administration.

He completed Master of Technology in Computer Science from University BDT College of Engineering (UBDTCE), Davangere, with a CGPA of 9.0. and Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Government Engineering College, Haveri, with a CGPA of 7.52.

His research centers on MANET security, adaptive trust-based energy-efficient secure routing, and blockchain-based trust logging, an area he is currently developing under the guidance of Dr. Shreedara K S (UBDTCE). His publications include a research paper on firmware security in synthetic IoT environments (IJIRCCE, Vol. 13, Issue 7, July 2025) and a review paper on cryptography in the blockchain era (IJRPR, Vol. 6, Issue 9, September 2025). His paper on an “Adaptive Trust-Based Energy-Efficient Secure Routing Framework with Blockchain Logging for MANETs” was accepted and presented at AdComSys 2026 (Springer LNCS/LNNS Proceedings), held at the University of Engineering & Management, Kolkata. He has also presented his work on blockchain and smart contracts for telecom SLA management at DRISHTI 2025, Puttur

His broader research interests extend towards VANET security, cryptography, and applied machine learning. Outside of academics, he enjoys playing cricket, networking, and computer games.
