Dr. Vasanthikumari P
Professor
Dr. Vasanthi Kumari P, earned her Ph. D. in Information and Communication Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. Her thesis is on Medical Image Compression. She has 15 years of teaching experience in reputed engineering colleges. She served as Lecturer of Computer Applications, at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam and later joined Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore. Then she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology. Before joining DSU, she served as a Professor & Dean, at Ranganathan Engineering College. She has guided more than 20 MCA and ME students for their project work. She has published 08 papers in International Journals, 03 in International Conferences, 03 in National.
Her areas of interest are Image Processing, Data Structures and Computer Architecture.BEST WISHES !
