Dr. Srinath Ramakrishnan brings over a decade of academic and research experience in Aerospace Engineering. With a strong educational foundation including a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering, an M.S. in Aircraft Design, and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, his expertise spans aerodynamics, rotorcraft dynamics, UAV systems, and aircraft performance optimization. He has actively contributed to curriculum development, technical talks, and project guidance. He is also recognized for his significant research contributions, including publications in prestigious journals and multiple sponsored projects. He is a lifetime member of various international and national technical societies and serves as a department advisory board member for esteemed institutions. His notable projects include optimization techniques for UAV applications, agritech drones, and boundary layer energization using innovative designs. He is proficient in advanced software tools such as Solid Edge and ANSYS. An educator with a passion for mentoring, he has guided several award-winning student projects and has actively participated in faculty development programs to stay at the forefront of advancements in aerospace technologies.
