Dr. Senthil Kumar received his doctoral degree from Anna University, Chennai, in the year 2014 in Wireless Network Management area and his Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering in 2011 from the same university. He completed his first master's degree in Master of Computer Application from Bharathidasan University in the year 2002. He has more than 20 years of teaching experience, of which around 8 years are overseas.

He is an expert in many different fields of computer science, such as Blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer networks, cloud computing, cryptography, and network security. He is the author of three books covering various topics, including Wireless Sensor Networks and Applications, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, and Python programming. In addition to numerous papers in reputable journals, he has filed and published four patents.

He has completed two overseas funding projects. A funded project on designing and implementing virtual labs for engineering labs using SOA has been successfully implemented. He belongs to a number of professional associations, including IEEE, CSI, CSTA, ISTE and ITEEA.
