Dr. Jayavrinda Vrindavanam V

Professor and Chairperson, CSE(AI and ML)

Dr. Jayavrinda Vrindavanam presently functions as the Professor and Chairperson at the Department of Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML)). She has over 20 years of experience in Industry, Research, and Teaching. Her areas of research interest are Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Machine Learning and Computer vision etc. Prof. Jayavarinda completed her B.E from Mangalore University and earned M. Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and M.E in Electronics and communication Engineering from Mumbai University. She earned her Ph.D. in Image Processing area from NIT, Durgapur in the year 2013.

Prof. Jayavrinda has been functioning as faculty of various Institutes across India and abroad. As part of the academic journey, she has secured research funding from several organisations. She has more than 50 publications in international journals, conferences, Book chapter and Patents, the notable journals include IEEE and Springer. She continues to be a reviewer of IEEE Access, IEEE Conferences Bangalore and Mumbai sections. She is also nominated into advisory Board Member of the Medicon open access Journal. She has delivered quite a few technical talks at different forums in the area of Machine Learning, and its applications, and current trends in Machine learning.
