Assistant Professor

Dr. T. Gayathri is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, with her research focusing on deep learning and neural networks for medical image analysis, particularly brain tumor segmentation and classification. She completed her M.E. in Computer and Communication from Mahendra College of Engineering under Anna University and her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from PSN College of Engineering and Technology.

With over 16 years of teaching experience, Dr. Gayathri has served in reputed institutions, including MVJ College of Engineering, The Oxford College of Engineering, and SEA College of Engineering, before joining Dayananda Sagar University in 2024. She has taught a wide range of subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including Theory of Computation, Data Structures, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Advanced Algorithms, and Software Engineering.

Her research contributions include publications in reputed journals and conferences, covering deep learning models for brain tumor detection, smart applications for safety, and network analysis. She has also authored a book titled Essentials of Business Intelligence with Power BI and holds a patent on deep learning methods for photocatalyst prediction. Her work has received 18 citations, reflecting her growing impact in the research community.

Dr. T. Gayathri has actively contributed to curriculum development, examination processes, and departmental events. She has coordinated several academic activities, seminars, and faculty development programs. Her vision is to establish herself as a respected expert in deep learning and contribute significantly to academia through impactful research, teaching, and mentorship.
