Dr. Chinmayee C V
Assistant Professor
Dr. Chinmayee C.V. holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), Mysuru, and a Master’s in Biochemistry. She has over six years of experience in protein biochemistry, enzymology, and cell biology.
Her work includes protein purification, enzyme kinetics, antibody production, and cell culture. She has discovered two new proteases and contributed to the development of enzyme-based products. She is experienced with techniques such as HPLC, FPLC, mass spectrometry, and bioinformatics.
Dr. Chinmayee also works with biological data and AI tools in drug discovery and has contributed to projects related to enzymes and Alzheimer’s disease.
She has held research roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Code Biotics, and Syngene International, and has also worked as a science communicator. She is involved in mentoring and has volunteered with NGO Pratham to support science education.
