Anupriya Bhushan is an academician in Computer Science and Engineering with strong expertise in core Computer Science and Machine Learning. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, where she is actively involved in teaching, undergraduate engineering courses, mentoring students and contributing to academic and research activities. She is committed in creating an engaging learning environment while encouraging students to explore emerging technologies in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
She recently completed her M-Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Jabalpur. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI), IoT Security and Intelligent Systems. She earned her Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra. During her postgraduate studies, she focused on developing intelligent and explainable machine learning solutions for cybersecurity applications.
Her M.Tech. thesis, titled "IoT Botnet Detection using Explainable Ensemble Learning Approach," presents a robust framework for detecting IoT botnet attacks by integrating ensemble learning techniques with Explainable AI methods such as SHAP and LIME. Her research emphasizes accurate, interpretable, and trustworthy intrusion detection models capable of enhancing the security of modern IoT environments.
Anupriya is GATE qualified and actively participates in faculty development programs, workshops, and technical seminars to continuously enhance her academic and research expertise. She is particularly interested in developing intelligent, scalable, and interpretable AI solutions for real-world applications. She is passionate about interdisciplinary research and aims to contribute to advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Explainable Machine Learning, and Secure IoT Systems, with a focus on developing practical and socially impactful AI-driven technologies.
