Ms. Ankita Ram Bharti
Assistant Professor
Prof. Ankita Ram Bharti is an academician in the field of Computer Science and Engineering with interests in Computer Organization and Architecture, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, and intelligent computing systems. She is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, where she is involved in teaching and academic activities.
She holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi) and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology and Research, Badnera.
Her academic and technical work includes the development of a Wireless Indoor Localization and Navigation System based on WiFi RSSI fingerprinting. The system employed a Random Forest-based localization model and achieved 93.8% room-level localization accuracy. Her work also involved real-time indoor localization and shortest-path-based turn-by-turn navigation.
She has also worked on profiling a distributed microservices-based Hotel Reservation application from DeathStarBench. The work involved analyzing a backend system comprising 17 microservices, studying API flows, backend response times, and database access patterns using tools such as Jaeger and Consul, and identifying system bottlenecks and potential architectural optimizations.
Her areas of interest include Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Indoor Localization and Navigation, Distributed Systems, and Machine Learning-based intelligent systems. She is keen on teaching, continuous learning, and exploring research opportunities in emerging areas of Computer Science and Engineering.
