Mr. Amit Verma is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI & ML) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. He holds an M. Tech in Artificial Intelligence from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala and a B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. His academic and professional interests are centered around Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Natural Language Processing, Data Science, and Programming.
With a strong foundation in C, Python, C++, Java, SQL, Data Structures, and Algorithms, Mr. Verma is passionate about programming, intelligent systems, and emerging technologies. He actively encourages students to develop strong coding skills, analytical thinking, and a problem-solving mindset, preparing them for both industry and research careers. His teaching approach emphasizes experiential learning, practical implementation, and the application of modern technologies to solve real-world challenges.
Mr. Verma is actively involved in research and continuous learning in the rapidly evolving domains of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has published research in IoT-enabled healthcare systems and continues to explore advancements in Generative AI, AI Agents, Intelligent Systems, and data-driven technologies. Through his teaching and research, he aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements while inspiring students to become innovative technologists, researchers, and lifelong learners.
