Akhil Pratap Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, and an M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala. His postgraduate research focused on low-dose CT image reconstruction, where he developed innovative frameworks integrating fractional-order spectral regularization, orientation-aware fuzzy diffusion, and deep learning-based residual networks to enhance medical image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
His research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Medical Image Analysis. He has authored and presented research papers in reputed IEEE conferences and journals, reflecting his commitment to advancing intelligent computing and computational imaging. Passionate about teaching and research, he is dedicated to mentoring students, fostering innovation, and developing AI-driven solutions to address real-world challenges while promoting academic excellence and lifelong learning.
