Akash Kumar is an AI Researcher, Developer, and Educator currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI&ML) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He is an AI researcher, developer, and educator with a strong academic background, having completed his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, and his M.Tech. in Information Systems and Security Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur. His postgraduate studies enabled him to develop expertise in information security, intelligent systems, and advanced computing technologies.
Before joining academia, Mr. Choudhary gained industry experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Fintract Global, London, and later worked as a DevOps Engineer at Bytes Bridge, where he contributed to cloud infrastructure management, containerized deployments, CI/CD automation, and scalable software development practices. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, Natural Language Processing, Generative AI, Large Language Models, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, and Distributed Computing. He possesses technical expertise in Python, C, C++, Data Structures and Algorithms, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, MLOps, and cloud-native technologies.
Mr. Choudhary actively contributes to the development of AI-driven applications and intelligent systems through research, teaching, and applied engineering. As an educator, he delivers both theoretical and laboratory-based instruction in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, and Information Security, emphasizing practical, hands-on learning alongside strong conceptual foundations. His current work focuses on deep learning, scalable AI systems, large language models, MLOps, DevOps engineering, and container orchestration, aiming to advance next-generation intelligent technologies and their real-world applications.
