Dr. Ajey Singh
Assistant Professor
Dr. Ajey Singh is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kharagpur, where his work involved experimental and computational investigations on tandem-bladed axial compressor stage, including the development of specialized multi-hole probe calibration facility. His research interests lie in aerospace propulsion, with a particular focus on gas turbine technology, thermodynamic cycle analysis, and advanced turbomachinery design. His approach is rooted in first-principle thinking, combining theoretical insights with practical experimentation to address complex challenges in fluid dynamics and aeroengine systems. Dr. Singh completed his M.Tech in Engineering Mechanics (specialization: Fluid Mechanics) from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur. He is also a recipient of the prestigious ASME Turbo Expo 2021 Young Engineer Travel Award, awarded by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
