Preeti Gajdhane is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Engineering, Dayanand Sagar University, Bengaluru.She pursued her M.Tech in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad, and her B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Solapur University, Maharashtra.
Her M.Tech thesis titled “A Federated Learning Framework with Enhanced Privacy for Mental Healthcare Applications” focused on developing a hybrid federated learning system integrating clustered learning techniques to enable accurate and private mental health predictions using data from wearable IoT devices. The system incorporated differential privacy and secure model aggregation, addressing the sensitive nature of health data and improving model efficiency while preserving user anonymity. Her research work aims to contribute to the future of ethical and secure AI applications in healthcare.
Preeti’s technical skill set includes Java, Python, C, DBMS, and cloud computing platforms. She has a strong foundation in computer networks, web technologies, and software systems. She has also worked on full-stack web applications, leveraging modern frameworks like FastAPI and React, and containerization tools like Docker, with a keen interest in integrating emerging technologies such as LLMs and federated AI into real-world applications.
