Associate Professor

Dr. Bharathiraja Nagu is a dedicated academician and researcher with over 15 years of teaching and research experience in computer science. He is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sager University, Bangalore. His expertise spans artificial intelligence, machine learning, data structures, web technologies, cloud computing, sensor networks, and bio-waste management. He has contributed extensively to diverse domains such as agriculture, healthcare AI, smart cities, cybersecurity, IoT, and data sharing infrastructures.

He holds a Ph.D. in Information Communication and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai (2019), focusing on web service design for efficient data sharing through cloud and sensor networks. He also earned his Master of Engineering in Software Engineering from Anna University, BIT Campus, Trichy, in 2010.

His academic career includes positions at esteemed institutions such as Saveetha Engineering College, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chitkara University, and currently, Dayananda Sager University, Bangalore. He has authored over 50 publications in top-tier international journals indexed in Scopus and SCIE, covering a broad spectrum of topics. His research has led to multiple patents and international conference presentations, especially in cloud security, smart healthcare, traffic management, and AI-enabled systems.

He is a reviewer for reputable journals including IEEE Transactions, Springer, and MDPI, and is a member of professional bodies such as IEEE, ACM, ISTE, and IAENG. Committed to continuous learning, he actively pursues online certifications in AI, cloud computing, and data science to foster innovation and strengthen industry-academic collaborations.
