Project Roshni
One of the oldest debates in psychology revolves around how to help people function optimally and reach their potential. At Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru we are cognizant of the need to assist our students and focus on living life holistically. Life skills programs are those that seek to build - capacity of individuals to make decisions and take actions that positively impact their lives and the lives of those around them. A primary goal is to promote psychological as well as physical well-being. For most people, positive human functioning comprises defining one’s sense of self, discovering skills and interests, developing multifaceted competence, and applying the valuable principles learned in one life domain to another. We assist a student in developing themselves to lead a full life.
Project Roshni is curated and conducted by Dr. Shweta Tewari, our faculty for HRM & Marketing who will take students through a superbly designed journey of self-learning and appraisal and become welladjusted individuals ready for the corporate world and improve their possibility of securing and sustaining jobs.
The program consists of three major components that teach students: (1) general self-management skills, (2) social skills, and (3) information and skills specifically related to career enhancement and jobs.
