Ms. Tekumudi Divya
Assistant Professor
Ms. Tekumudi Divya is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CST) at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, and Bengaluru.
She also has industry experience as a Data Engineer at Franklin Templeton India, where she contributed to building and automating cloud-based data pipelines and ETL workflows to support analytics and machine learning use cases, focusing on scalability, reliability, and clean data delivery.
Her research work is in computer vision and image restoration, particularly single-image dehazing and deraining for real-world visibility improvement. Her contributions include developing physics-guided deep learning approaches, dynamic filtering methods, and efficient transformer-based architectures, aiming to improve restoration quality while maintaining practical computational efficiency.
Ms. Divya has completed her M.Tech. in Information Technology (Human Computer Interaction) from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A), Prayagraj, India. She earned her B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Adikavi Nannaya University, Andhra Pradesh, India, where she was a University Gold Medalist.
Ms. Divya’s interests include Diffusion Models, data engineering for ML systems, computer vision, image restoration (dehazing/deraining), transformer-based deep learning, and efficient model design.
