Doctors add years to life and a Physiotherapist adds life to years.
Physiotherapists are autonomous professionals, able to act as first contact practitioners accepting referrals as well as referring patients to other health care professionals.

Physiotherapists are key players in the health care system today. They help in restoring and improving movements, keeping patients healthy, fit and active thereby improving the quality of life. They also play an important role in avoiding surgery and long term use of medications.

Physiotherapists help their clients achieve the highest possible degree of physical activity, participation and quality of life, develop the knowledge and skills to formulate physiotherapeutic diagnoses and design appropriate programs of prevention, treatment and exercise.

We at College of Physiotherapy, DSU provide our students with extensive education, treatment plans designed to meet individual needs while ensuring that patient safety is our priority. These have been achieved with good infrastructure the best clinical expertise ,hands on approach and train the students for customized patient care in our own 665 bedded two multi specialty hospitals , through which our students have been trained.
